Kaleido creates transdisciplinary experiences that brings together the doers, dreamers, thinkers, scientists, artists, business leaders, politicians and visionaries to have conversations that they normally wouldn’t have.
The KaleidoX gathering will take place on 15 March 2025 in Zurich, Switzerland.
Register for KaleidoXKaleido is a confluence that brings people of diverse interests together, opening avenues for sharing more insights. One way this happened was when a reading circle was created based on the overarching theme of the last event, “Reimagining Futures”. Prof. Graziano, a scholar of environmental economics was particularly enthusiastic to also engage with us. Every month, we read selected books/chapters and have very eye-opening discussions.
What happens when you bring physicists and artists and sociologists and dancers together like at Kaleido, is that you have conversations that you would not have had anywhere else, and also that your solutions and your work is then informed by all of these different perspectives.
This event not only teaches people to think more critically, this event is fantastic because it is not just about repeating notions: I gave a talk but the fun and the mutual learning really happens during the discussions .
Kaleido is a great place to meet and connect with individuals from different academic, political, artistic and cultural backgrounds. Each living and viewing the world in different ways. We come together and have rich exchanges that allow us to feel inspired and find ways to better work together, not only in this temporary safe space, but also integrate our learnings in our daily lives.
Kaleido 2020 has been a multi-facet surprising and energising experience. Within four days it enabled me to completely disconnect, while connecting with people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures, share inspiring conversations and build unique memories. Looking forward to Kaleido 2021!
Kaleido stands out for its loving organisation, the amazing location, the wonderful people that are open to learn, to be inspired, to discover new possibilities and to share their views in a family-like atmosphere. It was an honour to contribute with my art to reimagining the future.
I participate in the Kaleido events to experience new things without the hindrance of expectations (from myself or from others), and to break away from the routines of daily life.
I found at Kaleido a real willingness to work through different opinions, with people putting aside ego to really ecommunicate with each other.
Kaleido was an inspiring and energizing experience, the best way to shake up and stimulate mind and body.
Kaleido helped me to widen my horizon and put my scientific thought into perspective. It very much shaped the path I am taking now and I am grateful for it.
Besides just having a fantastic time, Kaleido also managed to create the needed space for creativity, reflection, and exchange, something rare in our busy everyday lives. Bringing together many different people, ideas, and backgrounds is in my opinion the foundation for problem solving, and to imagine and create new things.
