The 7th Edition of Kaleido Retreat, Becoming Peace, Becoming Liberation will take place from the 4th - 8th of September 2024 in Hasliberg Rueti in Switzerland.

We begin to arrive at 16:00 on Wednesday (16th) and ends at 12:00 on Sunday (20th).

Kaleido Retreat takes place in carefully selected venues in Europe. After six editions in Switzerland, France and Germany, the 7th Edition of Kaleido Retreat is in Switzerland.
This year’s location offers breathtaking views of the Alps.

Volunteers support the Kaleido Team during the event for approximately 2 hours per day. The tasks include for example supporting workshop leaders and speakers to set up spaces; supporting in the kitchen; providing technical support related to sound and lighting, etc.
The idea of the volunteer pass is to make the event financially inclusive for students and people with low-income. These passes are supported using the In-Solidarity contributions and through other donations.
We have 10 passes available.
If you are able to join the event with a regular Kaleido Pass, please be mindful of this. Of course, all help is welcome at the event, even for those who purchase a Kaleido Pass, just reach out to us so we can organise this with you!
The volunteers will be accomodated in rooms sleeping 3 – 7 people.
The Kaleido Volunteer Pass costs 400 CHF.
You can purchase a Children’s Pass (for children under 12).
It is an all-inclusive pass with full board with same accomodation as accompanying adult.
We currently do not have kids-specific activities. The curated programme is currently tailored for adults. Allowance of children in workshop spaces will be decided by the respective facilitator. Thelocation has plenty of space, indoors and outdoors to enjoy free time and play around. We will try to accommodate any special requirements you may have. There may be other parents and children, and we will keep you informed about it. Please communicate specific needs in advance so we can do our best to make the necessary arrangements. We have arranged a group travel option by bus from Zurich, which you can purchase for 60 CHF.
The bus will leave approximately 15:30 on Wednesday from Zurich HB and will be back in Zurich HB at around 14:00 on Sunday.
We do not offer one-way tickets as this is complicated for us to manage.

If you travel by your own means, please make sure that you arrive by 18:00 so that you do not miss the opening dinner and workshop presentations.

A few weeks before the retreat you will receive more detailed information regarding what to bring, meeting points, etc.
Spots are given on a first-come-first-serve basis. There will be a waiting list if the number of registrations reach the maximum.
If you have registered but cannot participate, we cannot give a refund (except for a cancellation of the event such as due to COVID-19 outbreak, see section below). We allow the option to transfer your ticket in case of non-participation. You will need to inform us and this person will have to register on our website.
Partial participation is not allowed, since Kaleido is a residential retreat that helps to build a community.
Insurance is the participants’ responsibility.
The activities, including the discussions, will generally be held in English.
